Tyler Mayle loved music, was committed to excellence, was a natural leader, and took pride in the Windsor High School Marching Band. Tyler also loved helping others in any way he could. Tyler was the drum major for the Pride of Windsor in 2006, 2007, & 2008. In 2009 he led the marching band down Pennsylvania Avenue at President Obama’s Inaugeration Parade. In 2013 Tyler lost his life in a tragic hiking accident. In his memory, the Mayle Family created the Tyler2Miler – a Fun Run/Walk to raise funds to help students who need financial assistance with marching band fees. (Donations for this cause will be accepted on the day of the race.)
